MITCHELL WAYNE

Started performing in San Diego as a dancer. From fusion style dance teams to musical theater rolls that praise Irish folk, polka, swing, ballroom and street jazz, Mitchell performed across Southern California before moving to New York City in 2010.

Currently Mitchell Wayne has two fitness videos under his belt via Crunch Fitness NYC, projects he is most proud of. "Aerobics With Attitude" is a representation of my way of dance; grooving to music I love. Giving the self-conscious new comer a chance to play, create or embellish their own persona while getting a great cardio workout! Come as you are and be as you'd like. No judgements here!"

Mitchell Wayne's Philosophy follows that of aviator pilot, John Hughes. "Passion will make you crazy but is there any other way to live?" Insight, staying humble, a naturally fun-loving personality and a genuine passion for teaching, plus his exploration of different dance genres is intended to keep his classes fresh, fun and challenging.

The New York Times Style section and Harper's Bazaar have even taken notice. "'...The most fun you could possibly have..." (Studeman, Kristin T. "For an Hour, Dancing Like Beyonce." The New York Times 10 Apr. 2014: E9. Print).

Michelle Potterf

Michelle Potterf is what we call Fosse Royalty. As a professional dancer with an 11 year run in the Broadway Musical, “Chicago,” Michelle was not only dance captain alongside choreographer Anne Reinking but understudy for the lead character, Roxy Heart.

Michelle has also had the privilege of constructing and overseeing a special one night performance by the incredible Chita Rivera at the Hotel Pierre. Not only has Michelle danced professionally on the national and international stage, she was also a featured dancer in the remake of the “Stepford Wives” movie and in a national Ebay commercial directed by Sam Mendes.

It was not only a privilege to work alongside Michelle and learn from the best but an even higher and profound honor to be given her talent in our NYC dance classes.

If you meet her even once you will never forget how amazing she makes you look and feel. Check out our monthly schedule to see when she’s guest teaching or inquire for future dates and private event details with her!

ROMMEL O'CHOA

Originally from the Philippines, Rommel opened with and is still on Broadway in the Revival of 'The King & I'.

He comes from a long background of formal training, but don't let that fool you. Ballet, lyrical, modern, tap, jazz, musical theatre, and ballroom partnering are his forté but hip hop and street jazz are where he also feels just as at home.

He has worked alongside many Broadway Choreographers such as Baayork Lee, Joey Mckneely, Susan Kukuchi and Jodi Moccia to name a few and has a strong passion for innovation and creativity.

Rommel can also be seen at Body & Pole, teaching and performing around the world in Competitions, where critics best describe him as "an aerialist/ballet dancer on a pole!"

His greatest philosophy is to dance out, live the music and not be confined to what's only inside the box.

Mitchell Wayne Productions couldn't be any more elated to have him join the team and share his personality and style of choreography.

Specialties

Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Broadway, Pole, Musical Theatre, Ballroom Partnering, Choreography & Production.

Chloe Rabinowitz

Chloe Rabinowitz, a Philadelphia native, has been a dancer and performer for as long as she can remember.

Her performance background is diverse—she began her dance career in the high octane, colorful worlds of competitive cheerleading and musical theater. Hip Hop soon took over as her strongest style of dance, and she became a teacher at multiple studios in the Philadelphia area.

During her time as a student at Penn State, she both danced in and choreographed for multiple theater productions, and was a member of various dance troupes.

Since fulfilling her dream of moving to New York City four years ago, Chloe has had the joy of choreographing for artists, stage performances, music videos, and has been a member of multiple dance companies herself, including 4 seasons with DanceWorks New York City. Though Hip Hop is her strongest style of dance, she has a passion for all types of movement, and has training in a multitude of styles including Jazz, Jazz Funk, Musical Theater, Latin, Contemporary, and West African. Nothing makes her happier than sharing her love of dance and creating an environment where everyone feels welcome.
